"I instantly lost 40 pounds within 6 months."

I first met Cornell in 2010. I was 50 pounds overweight, out of shape and hated the gym. I began personal training with him and instantly lost 40 pounds within 6 months. Since than, I've lost additional weight and have maintained it with the help of Cornell.

Training with Cornell has been an incredibly exciting and challenging journey for me. He will never let you back down from a challenge and is right there guiding you through your workout. His continuous encouragement allows you to reach and go beyond your goals.

From workouts using your own body weight to flipping tires or kettlebells, every workout is one of a kind. His suggestions and professional advice on additional training, nutrition and tips have all contributed to me achieving my personal fitness goals.

I've just completed my first powerlifting competition with his training  and deadlifted 240 pounds with my weight at 125 pounds. I thank him after every work out because he pushes me beyond what I ever thought I was capable of which has given me more confidence not just with my workouts but also in day-to-day life.

"I no longer feel pain in my neck and face"

Before training with Cornell Hunt (Hunt for Strength), I had the opportunity to watch him work with my 9 year old son.  The rapport he has with kids of all ages is unbelievable.  He makes them feel welcome and that each and every one of them belongs.  His easy going, friendly personality creates a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere but when a little push is needed his serious (voice) tone sets in and the kids know they need to give it their all. He makes each workout challenging, creative and most importantly, fun! He also places a high value on correct form with each exercise. He motivates them to push past their perceived limits to get results so be it with strength, speed or agility.   All are pushed to be their best.

As for me, after a year of looking in from the outside, I decided to take the risk myself.  It was tough, but I knew I needed to make some changes.  I had some neck injuries that I had to overcome, unfortunately when I would start exercises on my own, I had a lot of setbacks that sent me to my physical therapist.  My husband pushed me to seek professional help in how to train properly.  It has been about 5 months since I have been working out with Cornell Hunt and I have never felt better.  To be driven physically and mentally to be stronger has given me the balance and confidence I needed in my life and most importantly my health.  I no longer feel pain in my neck and face.  The hours spent and the results I have achieved to date have been largely due to Cornell Hunt’s ability to individualize exercises and training that help meet my goal.  I have never felt stronger or healthier.  His growing knowledge, commitment, and encouragement to all his clients present nothing but success.

Thank you Cornell Hunt!!!

"You are stuck with me for a while"

I walked into Cornell's office in March 2013 and said I can either spend money on a trainer or I can spend money on liposuction. Lipo would be quicker and easier, but at the end of the day I would still be weak and lazy, so I signed up for 40 sessions in 10 weeks. I had three goals - drop my body fat, get under 200 pounds and be able to do 10 pull-ups ( I could currently do three ). The day of my 40th session, I did 10 pull-ups and my body fat was down 6%. I thought ok this guy knows what he's doing. So I signed up for more.

Before the holidays got here, I was down to 200.7 pounds, close to my goal. I had lost about 6 pounds from March 23rd to December 2nd, increased my bench press by 40 pounds, and I am now up to 12 pull-ups.

Cornell, 2013 was a successful year. Thank you for the motivation and the fun. Not only have I seen results but I have met a nice group of new friends through our group training sessions. Here is to new success in 2014. You are stuck with me for a while.

"At 31, I am in the best shape of my life"

For a few months my husband Dan had been talking about this trainer "Cornell" and the seemingly crazy workouts he had him doing. I heard about Turkish get-ups, dead-lifts, sled pulls, etc. In my mind, this was unconventional for someone looking to maintain overall wellness in their life. Additionally, problematic knees tended to limit much of what I thought I could do at the gym - I was skeptical.

The weeks went on and I started to see changes in my husband - he was leaner, stronger and toned. Cornell obviously knew what he was doing.

After my first session I was hooked. The workouts are challenging, fresh, and mostly fun ;) At 31, I am in the best shape of my life. Cornell's training has also strengthened the muscles around my knees reducing much of my discomfort and improving my range of activities. We sprint, we jump, we lift... we have a good time.

It's not just about the results, it's also about the Hunt for Strength family. If you're not a member, you're missing out!

"All in All we can say we 100 percent satisfied and happy with our decision to start training with Cornell."

My wife and I started training with Cornell in January of 2010 and have been training with him ever since. I used to work at gym for two and half years, and can say for a fact that Cornell has more knowledge on training than any other trainer I have met. My wife and I have looked forward to our sessions with Cornell, he makes sure that every session is different and fun. We have noticed a definite increase in both our strength and endurance which in turn has led to a healthier lifestyle.

Cornell always make sure that we are motivated, and we would recommend anyone whether you are new to working out or a workout veteran to work with Cornell to move to the next level. All in All we can say we 100 percent satisfied and happy with our decision to start training with Cornell.
